A.  When the video showed pictures and videos of the Nazi's burning the jews and sticking them up.

2. What is the "madness" the Oprah and Elie Wiesel speak of at the end of this section?

A.  The Inhumanity of the actions the Nazi's portrayed.  Also the fact that Elie couldn't believe weather what he was going through was real or not.
